Identifying High priority problems & Recommending Solutions as a Dev.
You’d think that writing code that solves problems as described by users gets a developer the golden badge. This is not always the case because for some reason most of these product owners don't even know what they don't know, so they ask what they think is top notch.
Now, as it is a desire for a developer to raise revenue inflow for their business, this is best done by making sure products satisfy customers to the fullest hence recommendations, more business and also building that five-star reputation in order to charge ridiculously high prices for creating products.
Well, for my case, I like to be more innovative with UI design since its what the users interact with and get to understand anyway. So during the first chore, I worked on with the team Aqua, I got to choose the framework to use and in this case, I design a mockup design.
Thinking about the application was for readers, I included a button that would make this application more user-friendly to readers especially in the night so they keep visiting back to read some more. On top of that, I got to choose a theme color accent “Teal” which I recommended to the product owner to specifically enable users to differentiate the application in a certain way from the vast number out there that may or may not do the same thing.
I proposed most of this during a zoom call meeting and the Product Owner found it pretty good. So, in this case, I gave the product owner that confidence that the team will even pay attention to the smallest details to get the application working flawlessly.
