HURDLES FACED DURING ADAPTABILITY TO TRANSITIONS.
Change is as by far the only constant variable in life. This is due to many reasons but mostly because there’s no specific pattern that items in the universe are supposed to act which brings the diversity since they work in a fusion, brings about the influence of general day to day operations of all the objects in a certain space at a given point in time.
In day to day application, well I will focus on me since for a million reasons, my story is that interesting compared to those that I've come across. Being an aspirant to become a world-class developer, Andela was, in this case, the Career Jesus who came to save me from the other career I had to pursue just because it felt right. Its sounds like fun but trust me its both fun and pure challenges and if by any chance you don't buckle up you are bound to fall off the wagon. I have in fact struggled to start seeing stuff that I thought was rocket science as doable.
Let us break it down a bit, normal job applications take a day or two maximum broken down in aptitude and interviews. But Andela’s recruitment process is a bit lengthy and wow, adapting to it took me a change of schedules, sleeping patterns, added a new set of friends, new social media app called Slack and well got me constantly visiting stack overflow.
This is complemented by the fact that back at home they kept asking me to create a website “they don't know am struggling with this website assignment and I literally know so little”, that mentioned, I have aspired to become a better program just to stand up to the standards I set for myself and those they set for me. For some reason, I have grown to love the fact that I don't know much but I can always trust that I can always do it on my own and solve the hard puzzles.
This kind of being able to adapt to this thrilling but challenging process was well contributed to by the fact that I am a Technology lover and I was willing to go in depth regardless of how hard it felt, I always anticipate the end result and being part of such a beautiful movement inspires me to join in in the fun hence not minding the change, I also love to be always flexible because as situations keep on changing trust me one will want to be able to fit right in.

Today as I wrote this blog I pondered upon the words picked in the skill session. It said mostly know the change you want, work towards it while trying to meet the expectations you set out to meet in the first place, face the challenges it raises head-on and there forth be able to experience its whole impacted one implemented. Well, reminiscence of those words is my own story which is still in writing and hoping to see this change through as I head to the road for one of the best developers. Thank you.
